Due East will perform six new works by NYU composers collective, First Performance.

 
FALL    Due East will give a series of performances around the country of brand new works by up and coming professional composers, David Maki, John Allemeier, Mark Engebretson, Jeff Herriott, Alejandro Rutty, and Carl Schimmel.

13th    Performance at the State University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hosted by Carlos Stasi.
 
8-10th    Residency at the University of Campinas, Brazil. We will perform a recital and give classes for composers, flautists and percussionists at UNICAMP. Hosted by Jose Agosto Mannis.

18th    Composer's Concordance, NYC

Due East will give the world premiere of a new work by Composer's Concordance founder,Patrick Hardish.

 
15th    Princeton University

Due East performs John Supko's Littoral.

DUE EAST gives faculty recital at NIU. 8PM.

 
March    DUE EAST HEADS WEST! We have three scheduled performances at Southern Oregon University, Western Oregon University and Lewis and Clark University. See below for details.
 
24th    Tenri Cultural Institute, NYC.

Due East performs all new works for flute and percussion, featuring composers Alexandre Lunsqui, Kate Soper, Joseph Harchanko and John Supko.

 
23rd    Manhattan School of Music

3PM - Due East performing for the weekly Percussion Studio masterclass. Composer John Supko will be present at both events.

 
22nd    Manhattan School of Music

Due East will present for the Composer's Seminar, hosted by MSM faculty member, Reiko Futing.

 
10th    Lewis & Clark University.

DUE EAST winds up their tour of Oregon with a Saturday evening performance at L&C's Evans Auditorium. Concert begins at 7:30PM.

 
8th & 9th    Western Oregon University

Due East will be guest artists-in-residence, giving a number of presentations and lectures about new music and issues of globalization. The March 9th concert will feature a new work for flute, berimbau and electronics by WOU composer, Joseph Harchanko.

 
6th    Southern Oregon University

Due East spends the day speaking to and performing for the world music course, hosted by Professor of Percussion, Terry Longshore.
